Amen to that. One of the finest people I ever worked for (with ?) took a
great deal of time to discuss our 'Philosophies'. Maybe we were fairly
close philosophically, but the rest was 'easy'. This was very important in
a multi-national situation where we would see each other less than once a
month and I made decisions every day that had major impact on his world.
We did not always agree. We debated one subject for 12 months, as I
recall, before we reached some philosophical concurrence.
Now I regard the 'philosophies' of LO/OL and Knowledge Creation as key
philosophies for my work and life. Recently met the retired Financial
Director of the Guinness Brewery in Dublin. At 77 he is one year into a 4
year IT Degree course at Trinity College. He is living proof of another
related philosophy...Lifelong Learning (LLL) !!! Thanks Ben,
