A couple of resources for those seeking to understand working from whole
to parts.

* Any of Goethe's scientific or natural writings. He clearly saw from
whole to parts and documents his methodology. His "Theory of Color" even
has experiemnts which one can reproduce to experience his work.

* The work of Eddie Ricketts- Marine Tide Pool ecologist and a ecosystem
thinker. He was also a contmporary of Steinbeck and is "Doc" in his books.

Intro later, sorry.

[Host's Note: Introductions are welcome, but are *not* required or
generally expected before posting to the LO list. ...Rick]
