Confronting, and confronted by, such a topic, I can only think small and
disconnected thoughts. And they are all questions.

Are systems such as government, healthcare, law, and education already
factored-out components of a more general one? Does it have a name? Can
we give it one? Can we do without? Provisionally?

Permanently?

We are already participants in everything, aren't we. Here's a conundrum:
is it possible for me (or anyone) to act in such a way as to change only
one system and no others?
