Thank you for your wonderful story.

You wrote, "Now that I have learned an acceptable minimum , how do I avoid
a plateau where I feel that given my past record , learning this much is
achievement enough?"

Let go of "enough" and allow yourself a choice. You may choose to stay on
that plateau. You may choose to learn more. Whatever you are is enough.
