Just wanted to send a message and let you know that my participation on
this list will be reduced for the next three months. A number of reasons.
Two most important:
1) I have pending deadlines at work, and I'll be significantly increasing
my work hours;
2) Elections in the US are just around the corner, and I'm actively
involved in politics. The November election is coming up in a hurry. I
will be away helping with campaigns, etc.
However, there are a number of good threads going on here that I will be
reading on a regular basis. (I'm especially fond of the two started by our
host, Rick: Our Purpose Here and Life in Organizations.)
I wanted to send this to let you know I'm not going away. . .
I was saddened to hear that Robert Bacal had unsubscribed. Robert's
departure helped me realize that this is much more than a listerver. It is
a legitimate community. Although I've never met anyone on this list, I
definitely feel that we have all developed some form of a relationship.
Just as I'm saddened with a relationship with a friend doesn't work out,
I'm saddened that Robert has chosen to leave. I, for one, would welcome
Robert back in a heart beat.
This is an incredible list, as it is the only one of the many I've
subscribed to, where I actively participate. I enjoy reading each post
(yes, I'm a sick individual, and I take the time to read each post. . .
even the ones I'm not that interested in). My thinking is better because
it has been influenced by the thinking of each of you. . .
