While I agree, it was not my point, so I will have another attempt
:)

Complexity as I understand it, is harmony. It may be a phase we pass
through or maintain, depending on our adeptness at managing our
environment. There appears to be no question that strange attractors have
a physical significance in optimium community configurations. It would
also appear unlikely that these have changed over time.

Concerning the great business successes we have had in the past - IBM, GM,
Ford etc - what research has been done on the contribution of values
outside of traditional science to which their success could realistically
be attributed?

Per Covey, perhaps they were following laws of nature better than others
(eg golden section). I was suggesting that those very 'laws' of nature
have never been investigated (or perhaps published) to the degree that say
evolution, or atom smashing, have. Is that because they are seen as
emotional or religious as opposed to black and white? It seems that the
lines grow more blurry each day :)
