Replying to LO8772 --

In response to the question posed......I feel that if a manager is 'burnt
out' or 'bored' he or she cannot be effective and you should dispose of
that manager. If this former star manager is in a slump, how do you pull
them out, more money????? If they already have 'all the toys' I doubt it.
New title???? Maybe if you name them supreme being to match their ego, but
then you msut kiss their hand before speaking. No, I feel that it is that
manager's responsability to resign when he has lost the edge that makes he
or she a great manager. If they won't resign, force them out!
