I will go farther then that, and suggest that the question who is
responsible for communication effectiveness is about as useful and as
meaningful a question as who is responsible for making the sexual act
meaningful or "good".

I extend this notion to team building. One area that somewhat mistifies me
is that lack of attention paid to personal responsibility with respect to
team building and development. I have wondered, at times whether teams
talk too much about we, and not enough about I (in the Kennedy sense).

quibbling point...perhaps I would say aect as if your are responsible
for.....
