One way to compensate within a seniority system would be to have an across
the board wage increase with a %age set aside for the team, division,
department, whatever to disseminate. Let the team members determine the
criteria.
I believe you can separate the performance evaluation system from the
compensation system. It depends, however, what it is you want to
accomplish with the Performance evaluation piece!!
