Dear Learning-org Colleagues:

'Will appreciate much if you could provide any guidance toward valid
measures/tools for studying Organizational Knowledge Creation (OKC). My
working definition of OKC is based on Nonaka & Takeuchi (1995 - The
Knowledge Creating Company) which they define as: "a process that
"organizationally" amplifies the knowledge created by individuals and
crystallizes it as a part of the knowledge network of the organization."
(p. 59) Also defined as the "capability of a company as a whole to create
new knowledge, disseminate it throughout the organization, and embody it
in products, services, and systems" (p. 3).

As suggested by Nonaka & Takeuchi (1995), the construct of Knowledge, in
contrast to that of information, should take into consideration: beliefs
and commitments, action, and, semantics (meaning).

Any references, tips, etc. will be highly appreciated. Will appreciate if
you would copy your responses to malhotra@vms.cis.pitt.edu , as I
subscribe to the digest version of Learning-org.

Thank you.
