In my role as coordinator of the project, I was able to hear from all the
team leaders and found they almost universally valued the experience. Of
course there was always the element of surprise--and sometimes shock--at
what was indicated by the report, but, even then, the team leaders felt
it to be important information for them to have. I hope to use this
"intervention" as an opening to a continuing focus on improved team
development at the college.
I am grateful for the opportunity for our college to participate in the
process and I would also like to send my appreciation to Glenn Hallam and
Sarah Speer for their conscientiousness and responsiveness to my calls and
questions as we went through the project. This has been an excellent and
unexpected benefit from being involved in the learning organization
listserve.
Regards,
Tobin Quereau
