I'm moved to pick up on the "lurker" comments yet again, this time Charles
Taylor Grubb's
- yeah, some of us have established (web) relationships, and,
after a few weeks of lurking/reading, you may discover that some several
folks on the list somehow always capture something special in your view,
and have an especially cogent way of framing issues, or an approach that
seems to hit the nail especially well. Long may they wave! You'll begin to
feel an established relationship with those paragons after a while,
especially when some of them respond directly to you, perhaps. Certainly
that was my feeling, and I, like just about everybody else on this list,
began also as a lurker. So feel invited, welcomed, and encouraged to read
selectively to find those whose coments seem especially fruitful to you -
write to them, and begin to establish your own relationships, as you feel
comfortable and see fit.
That's what it's all about, when you are moved to comment.
Consider the list as a Quaker meeting, in which those speak (write) who
feel "moved by the spirit." Some of us move more easily than others (or
speak more lightly). That's OK!
