I'm new here, but oddly, I just finished writing an article about
"human speed bumps", the term I use to describe the complaining, and
change resistant employee. I think, btw, that the situation can be
addressed (I missed your original post),but that it requires
concerted consistent effort by formal leaders and team members to
make the destructive behaviour uenfun".

I also think that it is possible to have effective teams that include
a marginalized member,or self-marginalizing member.

I would post my article, but it's about 1,000 words, and I don't know
the list etiquette yet.
