Well . . .

If you distinguish between mere information and knowledge, it's a start.
Knowledge expresses relations among facts (information) and, more
importantly, what to DO about the facts.

Knowledge is chunked into entities called "agents" which can be thought of
as repositories for slices of specialized knowledge.

The knowledge statements themselves are "IF... Then" rules of various form
and include discrete, fuzzy, and "computable" (algorithmic) knowledge.

Organize the agents as you do people but with the assets of the
organization (processes, machines, etc.) hanging off the bottom of the
"org chart".

The agents "reason together" to determine action from situational facts.

Learning mechanisms can be put in place to reduce the pesky formulation by
humans of the knowledge statements.

My thoughts anyway.
