Replying to LO6043 --

Some time back, Gene said: "People always, always, always, do exactly
what makes the most amount of sense to them at the time they do it!!!"

On the one hand it explains everything, and on the other nothing. Why did
one person -- Martin Luther king -- make it his personal crusade to attack
racism on all fronts at great risk of pain and death?

Why do some people acquiesce and let the system manipulate them and others
fight back?

Why do some people complain and others do?

Why do some people reflect and others react?

Why do some people turn away from blatant abuse, and others step in?

Why do some lead and some follow?

I think it because some people have awakened to the need for personal
responsibility.
