I wanted to let you all know about the seminar that George Roth, Nina
Kruschwitz, and I are giving this year, to train people in the core of
learning history practice.

This seminar is being given under the auspices of Reflection Learning
Associates, a company that George and I founded last year so that we could
expand the scope and range of learning history practice. It draws upon the
insights we've gleaned from our work with the Pioneers' Group, as well as
other training and learning history work, and a fair amount of separate
development.

It's the second time we've offered it. The first time, we set up two
two-day sessions over a three-month period. That was clearly inadequate --
there was just too much to cover!

This time, the course meets three times, for three days, two days, and one
day, over a period of six months.

We call it "Becoming a Learning Historian." The dates are: April 17-19,
June 18-19, and November 8. It's set up so that ideally insider/outsider
teams can attend, work on a learning history in the interim periods, and
have it disseminated by September-October.

Please email me and George (groth@mit.edu), or email Reflection Learning
Associates at rlearning@aol.com, if you are interested in suggesting
someone who would like to know more about this seminar....
