What I found especially fascinating in this book was Kauffman's work with
'patches' and how they mimic the behavior within and among work groups in
organizations. Kauffman's experiments/simulations do not mimic real
organizational complexity but they provide some great insights and are a
great place to start for further exploration. Great for old paradigm
busting. A must read for any Meg Wheatley fan!
