Involved in assisting schools to change and improve, I "do" research and
development as a staff member of the Leadership For Change Project (LFC)
at the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory (SEDL) in Austin,
Texas. I have been interested in the learning organization concept (Senge,
1990) and its application to education: schools' and districts' staffs.

I have analyzed the context/culture of an elementary school research site
vis-a-vis descriptors of the learning organization, and am interested in
learning about other schools that operate in the learning organization
"mode." Further, I am interested in research studies that reveal results
obtained by learning organization schools in terms of staff productivity,
student gains, parental satisfaction, etc.

I am delighted to share and eager to learn more.
