Suggested topics for this years list:
1) How can we adapt work to human nature, rather than adapting human
nature to work.... Can we get productivity and joy from the same person
or workplace? What is the best source of "discipline?" Fear? Loyalty?
Shared vision? How does the purpose of an organization fit in with the
whole personality of the employee? When there is conflict, how should it
be settled.
2) Budgeting for a Learning Organization.... Love makes the world go
'round but money greases the wheels. What resources (people and
materials) can we deploy and where to implement our vision of a learning
organization. How do we measure success towards that vision. What are
the mission, vision and values of being a learning organization?
