Janet,

I work with a team that can be referred to as "virtual." We speak every
week on the phone and use faxes, E-Mail, and now Lotus Notes. It gets a
lot done. The key for the telephone meetings is an agenda. Without it,
nothing gets done. By putting an agenda together, people know what is
going to be discussed and what they need to prepare. We find it very
useful. Of course, it helps to get together every now and then. It tends
to work even better when you can put a face to the voice and other
communications.

Good Luck!
Gerry Shaw
