Can you expand on what you mean by "commonalities?"
What is "MMI?"

Andrew

[...and, here is Hal's reply...]

Andrew:

MMI is jargon for Man Machine Interface.

As to commonalities:

There can be many links between documents, topics, etc.

Example:

An economic teatise on Money Supply which uses a religious
allegory might be "hot linked" to other economic topics, finance,
and, in this case, religion.

The commonality is the "reason" for any particular link in that
some common organizing or underlying theme is the reason for
the link. The navigator should let you chose among link types
so if you're interested only in finance, the economic and religious
might not appear on your map.

Clear as MUD I'm sure.

Hope it helps.
