I am planning to make a technical change to learning-org on 1/1. This
should be transparent to most everyone. You won't notice anything unless
you are viewing the full headers of learning-org messages.
At present, the Message-Id: header record carries the identifier created
by the message author's system. For example, a recent message from David
Birren has the header record
Message-Id: <QQzwfr16190.199512291648@relay7.UU.NET>
(Pretty interesting stuff, eh?...)
I intend as of 1/1 to create new message id's for messages distributed
via learning-org and the message id from the author's system will be
discarded. Under the new approach, the message id will include the LO###
which will also continue to be visible in the Subject line.
The message LO1234 would carry the header record
Message-Id: <LO1234.learning-org@world.std.com>
This change is for my administrative convenience.
If anyone thinks this will cause any problems, please let me know asap.
