General Learning Models LO4248

I am currently evaluating a model of the knowledge development process and
would like to compare it to existing general learning models. I know from
the discussions that members of this list subscribe to various learning
model models. Would some of you be so kind as to point me to literature
on what you see as a 'General Learning Model.'

I would also like to hear from anyone that has applied experence with
D.Bob Gowin's Vee Heuristic for understanding knowledge and knowledge
production. I first encounted it the book _Learning_How_to_Learn_ by
Novak and Gowin. I have specific interest in the indentification and
analysis of the "transformations" Gowin includes on the "Methodological"
(right) side of the Vee.

For those who have responded or are planning to respond to my earlier
request to share other favorite writings and Internet references on the
general topic of "Knowledge?" I thank you.
