I am new to this list but extremely interested in Learning Org. Theory
and Continuous Learning/Career Planning as applied to the
museum/gallery world.
Could anyone let me know of literature concerning Learning
Organizations and the non-profit and specifically the
heritage/cultural field?
Are there projects or articles which deal with Learning Individuals to
include those inside and outside the "organizations" per se, i.e. to
include freelancers, consultants, the employment challenged?
I am involved with designing a seminar format and workbook for the
Canadian museum field applying some of the learning organization ideas to
personal career and learning planning to those involved with our
organizations but not only employed by them in a permanent capacity, i.e.
we see Charles Handy coming to the museum field.
Please e-mail me directly with any thoughts or reference.
Many thanks.
