Alicia, I would suggest topic you could cover would be the introduction of
groupware technology into the workplace. In particular, there are now
thousands of Lotus Notes pilot projects in organizations around the globe
where the use of groupware by inter-departmental teams is changing
organizational culture. There is very little academic research about the
use of groupware technology and the effect it will have on management,
information flows, hierarchies, and building shared vision; but the
evidence is mounting within the companies that have adopted Lotus Notes.
