Rick Karash, we are requesting your assistance. We need you to post this
letter on the mailing list. The letter is a request for assistance in
formulating questions for an Org. Theory student self-test. This will
enable students to more qickly and easily evaluate their current
understanding of system thinking. Please send all responses to

Dear Systems Thinkers,

We are presently enrolled in an Organization Theory class with Dr.
Thomas King. We are nearing the end of the semester and our final project
is due in one week. Our final project is to develop a self-evaluation for
the students who will be taking this course in the future. We want to
develop a self-test for the students to be able to figure out their
strengths and weaknesses more easily. The students would test themselves
in four general areas: systems thinking, team learning, mental models,
shared vision. We are trying to develop a self test with fifteen to
twenty question.

We are asking for your help. We are requesting that you send us
as many questions as possible on the topics listed above. They must be
very basic and general questions because we must remember that the
students taking the test are just beginners. Any input or questions that
you can think of would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jeff Magee & Steve Li
