Replying to LO3444 --

Some additional books that have been transformative for me and related to
learning organizational models:

The Phenomenon of Man (and other works), Teilhard de Chardin
(whole system and process perspectives)

The Tao te Ching, Lao Tsu
(one of the earliest "systems" teachers, tacit knowledge made manifest,
very moving imagery and insight, my favorite source of "wisdom")

The Structure of Scientific Revolution, Kuhn
(of course)

Memories, Dreams, and Reflections, Jung
(other ways of knowing, human possibilities, the power of stories,
images, and metaphor)

Lateral Thinking, de Bono
(most accessible and practical of de Bono's books for teaching about
creative perspectives and practices)

Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience, Csikszentmihalyi
(marvelous model for aspects of personal mastery, creativity, and play)

Enough for one post!
