I have often been delighted at the breadth of knowledge shown in this
group. It is exciting to see new thoughts, and expansion of thoughts
I've had. In that spirit, I offer this possible topic:

I am a member of Mensa, the high-IQ group. Despite some collective
brain-power, we often fall back on _how's the family_ conversations, or
else lack a topic-starter. I have had lots of fun by asking, have you
read a book which changed your way of thinking?

Please feel free to tack on your own books here. It helps if they're
available in standard book stores. Please don't think yours are too
well-known; we're all learners here. Tack on your name, if it helps to
keep the thread straight.

7 Habits of Highly Effective People, S. Covey
Ishmael
The 5th Discipline (of course)
Man's Search for Meaning, V. Frankl
