Hello Richard

...In my correspondence with people so far, as I have been sharing my
approaches and methodologies, I have mentioned the work we have done on
whole system change efforts using the methodology known as Real Time
Strategic Change. For me it integrates much of what I have valued of
Deming's system of profound knowledge and my well thumbed Senge books. We
are working with Robert Jacobs to pull together a European workshop to
share some of our learning on this and I would like to let people on this
list, whose conversations I have valued so much over recent weeks, know
about it.

CHANGING THE WAY ORGANISATIONS CHANGE - A WORKSHOP
on the principle and practicalities of real time strategic change,
whole system change efforts and working interactively with large
groups.

8.00pm 27TH NOVEMBER TO 4.00pm 30TH NOVEMBER

BEWDLEY WORCESTERSHIRE ENGLAND

Many people share the frustrations of effecting real and sustained
change in large organisations; frustrated leaders, dissillusioned
people, complaints about flavour of the month, sub-optimal
results, slow progress, lack of ownership, confused messages,
uncertainty and fear.... As small groups of people plan and
implement chnage in organisations often their very 'best efforts'
serve to exacerbate the resentment and blame felt by those not
involved.

It is possible, with a real time strategic change approach to
involve people across the entire organisation (and groups as large
as 500+) to collaborate in sharing perspectives, plan a new
collective future for themselves and take forward actions which are
aligned and reflect the common purpose.

The workshop is designed to give participants the opportunity to
- explore new practices, aimed at enabling entire organisations
todevelop and sustain new ways of doing business which position
them for success now and in the future
- develop profound understanding of the principles and
practicalities of real time strategic change
- appreciate waht this approach can offer, when and where it can
be applied successfully as well as the risks and pitfalls involved
- work together to consider how it can bring value and be aplied in
their unique situations
- envisage what they will do to make this happen and get the
support they need

The workshop is organised by VISTA Associates (UK + Holland) and 5
Oceans (USA)

Details can be obtained from Anne Brooks - (44) 121 457 8450 (phone
