My name is Jim Ross, and I'm administrator of employee development for a
utility company.
When I came across a mention of this list in another list I subscribe to I
was immediately drawn to it because becoming a learning organization is
one of the many challenges facing the company I work for.
I'm very interested in getting thoroughly immersed in the discussions that
I hope to see posted here. Perhaps, I'll lurk more than I'll post, but
I'll be undoubtedly firing a few questions at some of you to get more
information on the topic you're discussing.
What I'm hoping to get out of all of this is, at the very least, an
affirmation that this course (the learning organization) is, indeed, what
we must take in our company. I also hope to benefit from the experiences
of those of you have been walking this path longer than I. Experience,
I've found, *is* the best teacher.
I may even be able to share my experiences as this process unfolds.
