In response to Larry Richard's question about Dialogos -- My name is Ron
Kertzner and I have been affiliated with Dia-logos since its inception
three years ago. I've led both the Foundations for Dialogue course as well
as a three part Dialogue Competencies Program. I've worked in the fields
of conflict resolution, collaborative problem-solving and organizational
development for just under 12 years.
My experience with dialogue is that it is distinct from ADR/conflict
resolution and listening methodologies. One distinction is that in
conflict resolution one is seeking to resolve differences -- to find
common ground, to create mutual gains ....., while in dialogue one is
seeking to be able to "hold the tension of opposites"
