In response, I would point folks to the work of Graphic Guides. David
Sibbert, its President, is one of the co-authors of "Leading Business
Teams" - a groupware book in the Addison-Wesley OD series. It includes a
case study of change that used large scale graphic representations as part
of the process.
On the computer graphics animation front, I have not kept up to date with
sustems dynamics modelling software, but in the past I used a package
(Stella) to represent a company's financial system. It did a nice job of
modelling the flow aspects and illustrating the counter-intuitive dynamics
of inventory management.
