Keynote Presenters (current as of August 1, 1995)

Pierce J. Howard and Jane Mitchell Howard

Founders of the Center for Applied Cognitive Studies, their work bridges
the gap between the findings of neuropsychological research and their
application for teachers and trainers. Pierce Howard is the author of The
Owner's Manual for the Brain. In addition to workshops on tapping
creativity during the main conference, they will present an intensive
pre-conference certification workshop on applying the Five Factor Model of
personality to education, as featured in the September, 1995 issue of
Training and Development.

Geoffrey Caine

Specialist in the theory and practice of Brain Based learning and
teaching, and co-author of Making Connections: Teaching and the Human
Brain, and Mindshifts, A Brain-Based Process for Restructuring Schools and
Renewing Education. He is also Director of the Mind/Brain Network of
ASTD.

Todd Siler

Artist and scientist who focuses on "connectivity" to magnify people's
ability to absorb, critically analyse and undestand information. Author
of Breaking the Mind Barrier.

Marilyn Schoeman Dow

President of the American Creativity Association, and author of The Idea
Generator. Will offer current developments in bringing creativitity into
practical use in many learning settings.
