Dave commented upon starting with Deming and relation of TQM and LO.
Thank you very much for the insight. I envy you the experience of knowing
someone of Deming's ability and stature. I am an admirer of Deming and
Taylor and agree that taken in whole cloth TQM and LO do not represent a
dicotomy.
Those of us who have more limited experience and education have the
opportunity here to raise issues without being made to feel foolish.
