Labels are very important! We must realize that some labels have
been "tinted" with a lot of negaitve stuff that they may not be useful
anymore. This is the case of the "supervisors" (Superiors, Thinkers), and
"subordinates" (inferiors, doers -don't even deserve capital letters). If
we cannot "clean" the labels, then we might be better off not using them.
For as long as we talk about supervision, in the traditional sense, I
don't think that the learning organization would develop. Or it could not
develop in full!

Even in the tradional industrial model, there are many daily
aspects that can not be seen, thus are not subject to supervision. THe
thing is that we have ignored those elements so strongly that sometimes we
don't even believe that they exist. It is like the assumption we make in
the classroom that, as soon as we walk in there to lecture, all students
are listening. Sometimes, in the middle of the lecture, we mighht come to
the realization that there students who are not listening, but we brush
that off soon and keep on going with our words!
