Replying to LO1810 --

I would be delighted to help resurrect Frederick Taylor, whose work was
much maligned but not all that bad. In fact, quality improvement models
use much of what Taylor espoused, with a somewhat different emphasis on
the integrity of the people in the system.

Marv Weisbord ("Productive Workplaces") in his book has discussed Taylor
and others at some length. I recommend it as important reading for those
of us truly interested in the history of organizational theory.
