Recently, we received a new bishop who is very much TQM oriented. In
addition, there is a TQM-based movement within the UM church called "Quest
for Quality." I am coming to appreciate ways TQM and its principles can
work to increase satisfaction and effectiveness not only in the "business"
aspects of the life of a local church, but also in the people side. I
suspect that one can translate "productivity" in the business world into
something akin to "willingness to volunteer/share one's faith."
Anyway, I am not here to proselytize or evangelize, but to liten, share,
and learn. I hope my perspective can add to the depth of the list.
