I agree with this position. THere is a very crucial need today to
dump the traditional notion of growth to stay in business. That universal
assumption that bigger is better has now been changing to smarter is
better. We have to built smarter organization, which rely a lot on brain
power. Tom Peters calls that building "curious organizations." I believe
that in today's new global village, the organizations that show greater
success are the ones that can and do "exploit" the creative and innovative
abilities and, in general, the inetellectual capacity of their employees.
If this is the case, then "evolve or die" is the appropriate paradigm of
the times!
