I am doing a Ph.d at Melbourne Business School which looks at the creation
of a Learning Organisation (LO) for the Australian Taxation Office. I am
using qualitative methods based in a hermeneutic tradition, indepth
interviews, focus groups, documentary analysis. Using NUDIST software to
analyse. My main concepts so far are: the nature of organisational
transformative structures/cultures, learning as social integration,
situated practices (activities in time and space)re the LO. I have written
a literature review covering all the major authors, a critique of
'paradigms' that the current literature is framed within.Hope to hear from
anyone out there.
