This is probably due to the fact that we are BOXED in one way, and
only one way. Every single effort that has been done to improve education
during the last 10 or 15 years has been on trying to improve a system that
does not work very well anymore. SAT Scores, GMAT scores, GRE scores,
grades, GPA's, 120-credit-hour programs, material delivered 50' or 75'
minutes chunks of time, multiple-choice exams, lecturing, and on ...

Here in the U.S., the only education is going to really show great
improvement is when we consider today's ways as a No-option in the
decision process. "Don't let the existing culture dictate your
approach... You'll have trouble creating a `new' culture if you insist on
doing it in ways that are consistent with the `old' one."

It is essential that we "make people dissatisfied with they
already know" and that requires a delivery system that "provokes
learning." The system has to be one that supports learners' discovery.
The system should also provide for constant and mutual interaction so that
the learning gained can be shown by the learners and perceived by the
facilator and other learners.
