You're most probably right. But I would like to add something else : from
my own experience, there are very different traditions of teaching in
different countries. Is there a best way? Maybe. But I am not sure. The
interaction between a teacher and a student is a very complex one, wich
cannot be totally abstracted from other social interactions. The teacher
is usually much older. We don't behave the same way with older persons in
all cultures. In some, old age means knowledge, in others it means
something different (you're old, you're no longer good). In some
cultures, people are used to interact freely in a team. In other, a
hierarchy must be respected.
