When a discussion of "the dialogue process" starts evolving, a good many
people in the "systems community" will want the discussion to invoke
something called the "conversation theory" of Gordon Pask. Not being
expert in this, I won't say much more about it. Gordon is well-known in
Europe, and people go to hear his talks in part to see the presence that
he brings to the "stage". The flowing cape, the magnificent gestures,
etc., etc., remind me of the late John Carradine at his most expansive.
