These are good points. I've also noticed the best teachers are those who
tell a lot of stories. Storytelling is the creation of a micro-reality
and the implicit invitation for the listener to enter into that reality
and to "willingly suspend disbelief" which means in this context to
accept the assumptions/rules/world view of the story teller.
The "learning" from the story comes from this acceptance and intuitive
understanding of this world view and then the application of the
consequences of the world view in other perhaps, related circumnstances.
In the world of expert systems this is known as "frames".
