AAHE Quality and Assessment Conference

"Improving Learning: Forging Better Connections Between Assessment,
Quality, and Accreditation is the theme of the 10th Annual Quality and
Assessment Conference sponsored by the American Association for Higher
Education. The conference will be held in Boston, June 11-14, 1995.

The subtext for the conference will be systems thinking and
organizational learning with plenary speakers Russell Ackoff, Robert
Atwell, Judy Sorum Brown, Maury Cotter, Chuck Nielsen and Peter Vaill
helping us understand how to use these perspectives in a learning
environment.

There will be twenty-four pre-conference workshops on June 11, more than
120 concurrent sessions during the conference to provide opportunities
for participants to focus on applied learning situations.

In addition, Cambridge Decision Dynamics will provide a full-day workshop
on Wednesday, June 14, that will demonstrate the use of systems modeling
to improve decision-making in higher education.
