This points to the elegance and long history of "action research" or
participatory action research. Those of us who consult to organizations
easily fall into collusive patterns with authority ... a remedy for which
can be the openness of sharing our fears, out desirs, our intents and our
methods. This unfolding of our interest and intent can shift my desire for
a new disc drive into a democratic search for a shared solution - those
affected by the decision participate in making. Or we get a new garbage
disposal too and I install it!
