I have found that the best "tools" to get dialogue to work come from a
group called Temenos, led by Irv Rubin, PhD. He teaches courses called the
ABC's of Win-Win Communications. It revolves around skills of effective
communication, which then allow or facilitate the use of skillful
discussion and true dialogue, in a non-confrontational way. It is very
nuts and bolts. The seminars are very interactive, where they break down
and analyze your normal methods of communication, and then teach and build
new models of communication. It has drastically changed the way I
communicate in my organization, and had a positive impact on my
communication with my spouse. I recommend it for all organizations.
