Replying to LO522 --

Below are my favorite two articles. Both give a good overview of the
learning organization, and both emphasize practical applications. For
someone who "doesn't have the time" this is a good place to start.

"Building a Learning Organization," by David A. Garvin; Harvard Business
Review, July-August 1993, pp 78-91; Harvard Business School Publishing

"The Building Blocks of the Learning Organization," by Joan Kremer Bennett
and Michael J. O'Brien; Training Magazine, June 1994, pp 41-49; Lakewood
Publications

My initial reaction was "well, they should MAKE the time to read it," but
then I remembered that after two years I still haven't finished that
particular book, myself. I read the fieldbook in a week. But for some
reason I can't make it through the 5th Discipline. Hope this doesn't cause
everyone's opinion of me to plummet....

I am looking for an article that comprehensively describes the LO concept
for a seminar at the Univ. of Gothenburg.
