I have initially suggested the video because of the successful description
of the learning process that the father (Nick Nolte in the movie) has gone
through. For me the value of the movie is in the self driven process of
enquiry and not in the way the initial decison to fight against the
illness has been taken.

Imagine this situation : the decison is taken, and the problem situation
(that seems to be almost impossible to improve) is sitting in front of
you. How can you go about it?

In fact this is a question that is facing us every day in different
contexts of different importance. I believe that "Lorenzo's Oil" gives a
good example of a useful process of enquiry that one can go through.
