Maine birders are hoping the piping plover continues its comeback in Maine according to this Boston Globe article. Our guys at PRNWR have been taking their sweet time about re-nesting.. As you can guess, many of my shifts have been rained out, but I also have not been highly motivated to write about not seeing plovers, moving signs, doing radio checks, and yeah, sometimes even getting to talk to visitors about the little invisi-birds. I promise I'll update soon .with some meaty essays on not seeing piping plovers. |
