brief update

June 15, 2006

Maine birders are hoping the piping plover continues its comeback in Maine according to this Boston Globe article. Our guys at PRNWR have been taking their sweet time about re-nesting.. As you can guess, many of my shifts have been rained out, but I also have not been highly motivated to write about not seeing plovers, moving signs, doing radio checks, and yeah, sometimes even getting to talk to visitors about the little invisi-birds. I promise I'll update soon .with some meaty essays on not seeing piping plovers.
