OK, so now The Road to
Oxiana has fallen down behind the mattress and slid
to inaccessiblity through the slats. Maybe there really
is a portal to another universe in my room. Either that
or The Borrowers live under my bed.
The major event of the weekend is
the family extravaganza for my aunt's 80th birthday and
my cousin's 50th birthday. Lots of family to trip over
and to photograph with my new camera phone. Like I need a
camera phone? Well, as the Hermit Potter pointed out,
it's about the same resolution as my defunct Sony Mavica
so I can use it to take pix for this journal -- not that
I ever update the journal anymore.

Non
sequitur: Every time I turned on the radio this weekend
it was the start of "Reporting Religion with Trevor
Barnes". Not only that it was the exact same show -- not
even a different incarnation of "Reporting Religion". I
think The Borrowers have not only stolen all my
books but also all the NPR shows on my radio. I really am
beginning to think there is a portal to another universe
in my room.
